Focus Intensive Performance Workshop
Senior Workshop Series for school leavers and older
Fun Learning for the Serious
Restricted to a maximum of 15 participants, this series of seminars over 2 weekends is strictly for mature students (school leavers and older) and experienced musical theatre or other performers who are either contemplating a career in professional theatre or keenly involved in amateur theatre.
Commencing each weekend on the Friday evening, this workshop series is lead by acclaimed tutors Sam Haft (NIDA) and Lisa Chappell (see the tutors tab for full details).
The workshop will take participants on a personal journey of discovery and inspiration through a combination of movement, text analysis and breathing exercises designed to lift students to the next level in their career.
This workshop series was established by the CCMT Board in 2008 when a number of students from our Emerging Talent School were identified as so talented and devoted to their craft that they intended pursuing a career in the arts and the Board proudly sought theatre professionals to teach this group and others how to maximise their performance abilities and opportunities.
CCMT, with the assistance of our esteemed patron Janice Webb, carefully selects key international professionals to deliver these workshops to ensure that workshop attendees understand and benefit from the latest techniques and developments globally in theatre.
