In 2011, Jamie returned to Sydney after working with Susan Batson and at the Stella Adler studio in New York.

On Screen Jamie is best known as Narrator Ben Charlton in Underbelly NZ: Land of the Long Green Cloud. He has appeared in short film's The Shed (2011), Nightstorm (2011), All Blacks don't cry (2010), Vinyl (2008), Winners and losers (2007) as well as TV shows Out of the Blue (2008), Home and Away (2007) and Shortland St (2001-02).

Jamie's theatre credits include Sydney Ghost Stories (Old Fitzroy, 2009), Colder (Stables, 2008), Soldier and the Thief... (Old Fitzroy,2008), Class Enemy (NIDA, 2007), Kikia the Poa (Producer, Actor, Old Fitzroy, 2006), 7 Blowjobs (Belvoir, 2006) and various NIDA productions.

He also toured New Zealand as part of the cast of Blood Brothers in 2001.

He has voiced hundreds of TV and radio commercials for New Zealand and Australia.

Jamie co-founded the Really Really Serious Theatre Company and in 2009 Picture This Productions, a collaboration of five local artists responsible for Sydney Ghost Stories.

In 2009 he received a Mike Walsh Fellowship to train in New York. Jamie has a Bachelor of Performing Arts from NIDA and a Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University of Wellington.
