Jane Keller - Vocal Tutor, 2008 Summer School

American born Jane Keller trained at The Ohio State University where she received a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education, and Master of Vocal Pedagogy.

Although classically trained and with over 30 years operatic experience to her credit, Jane's real love is musical theatre.  She has delighted audiences and theatre critics in the USA, Europe, and New Zealand with her “Mobile Face” , “Comedic Flair” and her “Versatile Voice”.

Jane featured for 10 years as the principal comic mezzo with Columbus Light Opera.
She has performed all of the G&S female character roles.

In the 19 years Jane has lived in New Zealand, she has established herself as one of the country's leading singing teachers.  Jane specializes in teaching musical theatre singing styles, repertoire, and “The Broadway Belt”.  Jane is the singing teacher at
Toi Whakaari – The NZ National Drama School.

Jane has performed her two one woman shows , “Bigger Is Better” and “Do I Have To Get Naked?” to great critical acclaim in the U.S. and New Zealand.  She enjoys taking these shows around the country.

Jane lives in Wellington with her husband Richard and 15 year old son Sam.
