Ryan Bennett - Acting Tutor
Ryan Bennett is a New Zealand born actor who trained at Actors Centre Australia and then completed a Master of Arts at Guildford School of Acting. He’s been in indie features (e.g. Zoe; Misplaced, Drown, Our Little Haven, Blood and Bones), bit parts on television in Australia (e.g. Home and Away) and was in his first web series when he was just 16 (But no chance you’re getting the name of that one)! He's starred on stage at the Sydney Opera House in Nightbook, toured New Zealand, Australia and parts of the U.K. with The Factory - a new musical, in the male lead role (Edward) and played off-west end in "Don't Run" a new musical which he co-authored. He also writes and produces his own short films and theatre that has screened/been staged in London and all over the world.
Since graduating in 2012, Ryan has taught acting for numerous schools such as NIDA, Sylvia Young Theatre School, Guildford School of Acting, CCMT, and many more. He specialises in teaching script analysis, auditioning, screen performance and acting through song - but has been known to comfortably cover all manner of material and concerns to the new/developing actor.
Ryan's passion for teaching matches that of his passion for performance, directing and writing. Ryan is very excited to be joining the team at CCMT again and can't wait to get to work with a new batch of actors!
