The school exists as a registered charitable society and is administered by a Board. Aside from governance responsibilities Board members also focus on fund raising, securing enrolments and generally promoting the school.

Janice began her teaching career at Wellington Teacher’s College. During that time she sang on the national programme’s “Broadcast to Schools” and made many recordings. Janice continued her primary teaching while also performing leading roles in Opera, Operetta, Musicals and Oratorios before “retiring” after thirty years teaching to dedicate herself to fulltime vocal training. She conducted many Auckland Primary School Festivals.
Over the past twenty years her singing pupils have been consistently successful at competitions throughout New Zealand and have gained entry to performance degree courses throughout Australia and the United Kingdom.
Janice teaches singing in Auckland and each month produces a “showcase” where her pupils have the opportunity to develop their stagecraft and work with other talented performers and directors. She is devoted to musical theatre and her students are performing professionally all over the world. In 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007 Janice was a tutor at the New Zealand National Singing School.
Janice was Director of the school for the 2006 programme.
Linda Fox - ChairpersonLinda is a partner in a small legal practice on the fringe of Auckland's CBD. Her areas of specialization in her legal practice (property, estate planning and trusts, entertainment law, relationship property and employment) all benefit from her long experience and passion for contracts, negotiation and advocacy.
Linda denies being one of the many lawyers who love to perform on any ‘stage’!! She is not a courtroom performer and she 'lives and loves' theatre (and music) through keen audience participation, the joy of assisting CCMT’s participants live their dreams at every CCMT event and the knowledge and belief in the vital part the arts play in a truly vibrant society.
She watched both her sons grow artistically and in personal confidence through their participation in CCMT’s programmes and knows CCMT offers something unique and invaluable to students.
A foundation Board member, Linda has no less enthusiasm for CCMT now that her elder son (who attended 5 CCMT summer schools and CCMT’s senior (Focus) workshops in their inaugural year) is pursuing his passion for theatre as a working actor/singer overseas and loves that he is one of several past students who has returned to tutor for CCMT. Linda devotes her spare time to actively advocating for CCMT’s Focus students/professionals in particular and works within the Board aiming to assist CCMT’s ‘graduates’ to careers in the arts or active amateur enjoyment and to offer professional actors enjoyable and stimulating continuing professional development opportunities.
Her Board role includes the more mundane stuff – necessary legal documentation, legal framework and charitable compliance! – as well as the opportunity to connect with some wonderful professional actors/teachers/presenters.
Doris arrived in New Zealand in 2006 bringing with her a wealth of talent and experience. After working for years in universities and colleges she became interested in non-profit arts management. She was a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director for the Performing Arts Centre of Metrowest in Framingham, Massachusetts for 5 years. She has been a member of the CCMT Board since 2007 and was a founding Trustee for Youth Theatreworks Charitable Trust. She served as a Trustee and Production Manager for six years with Youth Theatreworks. Doris has successfully completed funding applications for a variery of programmes and organisations. She currently works as the Music Administrator at ACG Parnell College.
Doris holds a BA in Psychology from Bradford College and a MS in Education from Indiana University.

With a background in web design and copywriting, Franciska learned to play the piano in her teens; enjoyed a brief dalliance with the cello, flute, and singing as an adult student; and was a competitive Ballroom and Latin American dancer in a former life. Her interest in the performing arts was reignited through her daughter, who first took to the stage at the tender age of four.
Over the past nine years, Franciska has been involved in the world of theatre: performing; assisting both backstage and front of house; and spending many, many hours on costume design and production.
Franciska holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and has recently been accepted into the Postrgraduate Diploma in Education (Counselling and Guidance) at Massey University. Her role on the CCMT Board is predominantly the maintenance of the website, facebook page, and distribution of e-newsletters.
