  • We’re delighted to announce that the CCMT Board has resolved for CCMT to take a new direction. We’d love to turn our love of assisting aspiring artists to follow their dreams into a rather different (for us) kind of assistance than we’ve offered in the past - by offering a helping hand with specific costs for courses or study those artists identify whether nationally or internationally…. If you think this might be you or someone you know, watch this space, as we will soon announce the how, when, what ways to apply for our assistance.

  • We recently heard of this great sounding competition for secondary school aged performing artists, run by Auckland Council.
    What a great opportunity, we thought… so we’re telling you about it!! If your school isn’t already involved – tell them about it or get into it yourself.
    The deadline for entries is July 29 so don’t delay. Heats, semi-finals and finals are in August – check out aucklandcouncil.govt.nz for details.

  • Best known for her roles in the iconic television series GLOSS and MCLEODS DAUGHTERS, Lisa has worked on stage and screen in New Zealand and Australia for the past twenty-five years, winning her two Logie awards for her role of Claire in Mcleods Daughters and a Qantas award for her role in THE CULT. This is a must do workshop for anyone considering training in film and television.

    Past CCMT student, now professional actor/singer Ryan Bennett was recently cast in Fireface a very original play with a cast of 5. The play is about a family - parents, daughter and son – and the daughter’s boyfriend, the relationships between them all - family values, family unit functions, mental illness, pyromania…
